Morris Robinson is a renowned bass who debuted at the Metropolitan Opera in "Fidelio" and has performed key roles like Sarastro in "Die Zauberflöte" and the King in "Aida." He has graced prestigious venues worldwide, including the San Francisco Opera and Teatro alla Scala, and has taken on roles in "Porgy and Bess" and "Turandot." As a concert artist, he has collaborated with major orchestras and released a solo album, with Decca. This season, he returns to the Metropolitan Opera for "Aida" and performs with various ensembles. An Atlanta native, he graduated from The Citadel and trained at the Boston University Opera Institute, serving as Artistic Advisor to the Cincinnati Opera from 2019-2021.
