About this Event
Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a common topic of conversation among educators, but there is limited research on faculty and students AI perceptions and usage in academic settings. Our study investigates AI perceptions, focusing on the current understanding and applied usage of AI by GSU faculty and students. Results suggest an initial AI familiarity and various attitudes of faculty and students, highlighting enthusiasm and apprehension in embracing AI tools in pedagogical contexts. Institutional administration can use these valuable insights to identify support areas for faculty and create structured learning opportunities for students.
