About this Event
One of the goals of Student Victim Assistance (SVA) is to help students find healthy ways to cope with trauma after victimization. SVA employs a holistic approach, and one way individuals can care for themselves is through cooking. Cooking is not only a physical activity that promotes self-care, but it is also a mindful practice that supports emotional and mental well-being. This Trauma-Informed Cooking Conversation will cover how cooking can encompass various aspects of wellness.
