Join us for Black Mental Health Matters on February 3rd from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. Dahlberg Hall Veteran's Memorial Auditorium. Learn about common mental health conditions that impact the African American community and how to "Seize the Awkward" and have a conversation with someone you are concerned about. Make a self care plan, take a Mindwise mental health screen, and learn about campus and community resources to help you manage stress, anxiety, and depression. There will be a meditation at noon and a panel discussion (pre-taped) about destigmatizing mental health at 12:30 p.m.
This is a collaboration with The Office of Black Student Achievement, The Counseling Center, Student Health Promotion, The Access and Accommodation Center, The Campus Recovery Community, and Nutrition Services.
