 nheim Fellow Jessica Blinkhorn for the fair. She plans to exhibit photogra
 phic works and conduct one performance. \n\nAbout Jessica Blinkhorn:\n\nJe
 ssica Elaine Blinkhorn is an interdisciplinary artist\, social rights acti
 vist\, curator\, and educator from Atlanta\, GA. Her work advocates for th
 e disabled\, aging\, and LGBTQ+ communities\, promoting equality\, equity\
 , and inclusion through powerful installation and performance pieces. The 
 focus of her work is on personal autonomy and dismantling social narrative
 s. After moving to Atlanta to pursue her graduate degree in drawing and pa
 inting\, Blinkhorn quickly realized that traditional media was insufficien
 t to convey her creative vision. Performance art was the language she need
 ed to speak to the world. Performance\, installation\, and curation have g
 iven her a voice that allows her to continue creating despite her physical
  disability. In 2022\, Blinkhorn courageously established SPANKBOX.ATL aft
 er researching the incidences of sexual assault in the disabled community 
 while coming to terms with her own experience. She noticed a lack of conve
 rsation about disability and sexuality. She decided to take matters into h
 er own hands and created a photographic installation project called SPANKB
 OX.ATL. The project depicts images of individuals from the disabled commun
 ity owning their sexuality while educating the non-disabled community abou
 t disability and sex. SPANKBOX.ATL has received support from the Disabilit
 y Awesome grant and the Community Corps grant via the Carter Center.
