Python for Advanced Scientific Computing - Part 3

This workshop is the third session of a workshop series where we will introduce python as a language for the scientific computing. The intended audience is beginner and intermediate users of the Python language. Basic knowledge of python and numpy array will be helpful. In this workshop, we will learn basics of matplotlib and it’s APIs. We will learn how to visualize statistical data using Matplotlib and manipulating data using pandas. The participant will complete all hands-on material using web-based High-Performance Interactive learning environment, and no software installation needed on local computers. However, a laptop computer is required to access the web-based tools during the workshop. Registration is only open for Georgia State student, faculty, and staff.
