The College of Education & Human Development's Adult Literacy Research Center will host its next conference on Oct. 20, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. in Georgia State University's Student Center East and West. 

The conference, entitled, "Enhancing General and Health Literacy in the Age of Misinformation," will focus on understanding the challenges and opportunities for adults with low literacy skills. 

The purpose of this conference is to highlight research in several areas of adult literacy, including reading and writing, numeracy, cognition, health, financial, family, workplace and digital. 

Undergraduate and graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, faculty, community members and practitioners are invited to attend. There is no cost to attend.
