Mastery in Motion

"An Untitled Love" is the highly anticipated evening-length work from the 2013 MacArthur Fellow Kyle Abraham. Composed of the catalog of Grammy-winning R&B legend D’Angelo, this creative exaltation serves as a thumping mixtape celebrating culture, family and community. Galvanized by Black culture and history, the company's work is made in conjunction with artists across a range of disciplines. It entwines a rich and provocative vocabulary with a strong emphasis on music, text and visual art. And if anything demands the silken choreography of Kyle Abraham, it's the seductive, lush music of D'Angelo. We invite you to join us for this transcendent night of movement and music -- and ask yourself: "How does it feel?"

This presentation of A.I.M by Kyle Abraham's "An Untitled Love" was made possible by the New England Foundation for the Arts' National Dance Project, with lead funding from the Doris Duke Charitable Foundation and The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation.

It is also funded in part by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Arts and Georgia Council for the Arts.
