 ity students\, faculty\, and staff.\n\nAbout this Event\n\nCome join the E
 XLAB staff and community for a witch hat making workshop! Whether you’re
  a beginner or more experienced sewist\, a spooky workshop like this is a 
 fun and simple way to get to know a sewing machine and a few staples of fa
 bric crafting. Together\, we’ll be sewing a reversible witch hat just in
  time for spooky season!\n\nWe will be using a pattern by @arinicocospl
 ay on Instagram\, and assembling the whole thing together\, from cutting t
 o topstitching\; however\, you must know how to operate a sewing machine t
 o attend.\n\nThis workshop has few things that need to be taken care of be
 fore participation.Required materials are:\n\n1 yard of your main fabri
 c1 yard of a contrast or lining fabricThreadBuckram or heavy interfa
 cing (EXLAB can provide this)2 Yards of 1 or 2-inch ribbon (optional)2
  Yards of 1/2 inch bias tape (optional)EXLAB provides:\n\nSewing mac
 hinesIrons and ironing boardsCutting mats\, scissors\, and rotary cu
 ttersThe witch hat template/pattern we will be using for the workshopT
 his workshop will take approximately three hours\, but has the possibil
 ity of running longer depending on the amount of attendants.
