My computer science journey has been anything but normal. The twists and turns included switching majors, graduating just as COVID struck, and getting fired from Expedia for insubordination. But in the end, I found that attending Georgia State set me up for long-term success both as a machine learning engineer and a company founder. I hope you will learn something from my unorthodox career that may encourage you to think outside the box in these adverse times for new CS grads.

About the Speaker: Ryan Walden is the founder and CEO of the small but rapidly growing AI transformation company, Rosenblatt, named after the first AI engineer, Frank Rosenblatt. Ryan graduated from Georgia State in 2020 with a B.S. in computer science.
