This workshop introduces best practices for designing PowerPoint presentations that meet accessibility standards under ADA Title 2 and Section 508. Learn how to revise layouts, text, images, and features like charts and graphs so your slides are clear, readable, and compatible with screen readers and other assistive technologies. Whether you build lectures from scratch or adapt publisher slides, you’ll leave with actionable steps to make your presentations accessible for all students.

• Proper use of built-in slide layouts and content boxes
• Writing effective Alt Text for images and charts
• Formatting tables and labeling data clearly

• PowerPoint files in iCollege

To get the most out of this workshop we recommend bringing your own device and a Microsoft (MS) PowerPoint file you’d like to review to best follow along.
