We are excited to announce that ATJ Day, the highly anticipated event that will feature the Department of Justice's Office of Access to Justice (ATJ) and various criminal justice organizations will be held on March 21st at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. This event will feature a day of activities and provide students an opportunity to meet ATJ Director, Rachel Rossi and leaders of public defender offices and criminal justice organizations from across the country.

This event will provide a unique platform for aspiring and current law students to engage with the Department of Justice, connect with professionals and organizations doing work in this space, and contribute to the ongoing efforts to promote equal justice for all. This event will also provide an opportunity to understand the multifaceted challenges faced by individuals from lower socio-economic backgrounds and explore strategies to overcome the barriers to justice they encounter daily in our justice system. The day will include panel discussions, table talk opportunities to meet representatives from local and national criminal justice organizations, opportunities to participate in focused workshops and networking opportunities. Participating organizations will share employment opportunities for students looking for permanent employment, summer internships, and school-year externships. Law students who want to serve justice-impacted populations will be provided the space to identify opportunities and connect with professionals who can help pave that path in the legal profession. You may participate in any events or workshops as you choose throughout the day.

Please RSVP as soon as possible for an accurate headcount. For more information, visit the ATJ homepage. We hope to see you there!
