This past year, Dr. Kathryn Crowther ran an EPIC Project Lab course on Disability, Access, and Inclusion. Students in this course have spent time both learning about disability as a historical and social construct and working with institutional and local partners on initiatives to support people with disabilities in our community. A group of students from the course will participate in this roundtable conversation to discuss their work in the class as well as, in some cases, their own experiences as disabled students at Georgia State. Part of the discussion will focus on what barriers to full access they have experienced as students, along with recommendations for what instructors can do to best support their learning and to create an inclusive classroom.

(Please register using your GSU email in order to access the Webex link at the meeting time.)

This is the third workshop (of five) celebrating 2024 Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD). CETLOE is committed to providing universal access to our events. To request disability accommodation or more information, please contact us at cetloe@gsu.edu
