Georgia State University College of Law is honored to host the 49th Annual American Society of Law, Medicine, & Ethics Health Law Professors Conference, June 3-5, 2026. This conference, the oldest and largest of its kind, serves as the premier meeting ground for professionals who teach health law or bioethics in schools of law, medicine, public health, health care administration, pharmacy, nursing and dentistry, with representatives from more than 40 states and 10 countries. Presentations and seminars conducted by leading health law educators foster and inspire discussion and discourse among conference participants. The program is designed to update participants on critical issues at the forefront of law, medicine and ethics, and provide them the opportunity to share and disseminate new strategies, ideas and materials. Accordingly, conference attendees return to their home universities prepared to equip a new generation of students with the necessary knowledge, skills and values needed for professional practice.
