About this Event
The Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders is the flagship program of the Young African Leaders Initiative, which empowers young leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa through academic coursework, leadership training, mentoring, networking, professional opportunities and support for activities in their communities. Those selected by the State Department for the program have promoted innovation and positive change in their organizations, institutions and communities. Please join us for the GSU Mandela Washington Fellows Program: Cultural Exchange Presentations, where our 25 program participants will share insights into their cultures and experiences. Countries represented are: Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Cameroon, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Namibia, Nigeria, the Republic of the Congo, Rwanda, Seychelles, Sierra Leone, South Africa, the United Republic of Tanzania, Togo, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
