About this Event
View map Free EventHow can a graphic novel help us think about our world? What can graphic novels tell us about ourselves? Can graphic novels help us imagine new possibilities for our world? Join us on Thursdays in February for a discussion of multiculturalism, diversity and social justice in Ta-Nehisi Coates graphic novel, Black Panther: A Nation Under our Feet Book 1. Scott McCloud’s Understanding Comics: An Invisible Art will also be used as an aide throughout the series. All are welcome (regardless if you have read the comic already), but pre-reading is encouraged.
