About this Event
View map Free EventHow can a graphic novel help us think about our world? What can graphic novels tell us about ourselves? Can graphic novels help us imagine new possibilities for our world? Join us every Thursday in October for a discussion of multiculturalism, diversity and social justice in Maggie Thrash’s graphic novel, Honor Girl. Scott McCloud’s Understanding Comics: An Invisible Art will also be used as an aide throughout the series. All are welcome (regardless if you have read the graphic novel), but pre-reading is encouraged.
