He has curated a series of exhibitions addressing various issues surrounding the body in visual art that have resulted in some of the most compelling exhibitions in the Southeast.
These exhibitions—Paint Made Flesh (2009), Fairy Tales, Monsters and the Genetic Imagination (2012), and Phantom Bodies (2015)—have included work by artists such as Francis Bacon, Lucian Freud, Alice Neel, Eric Fischl, Georg Baselitz, Jenny Saville, John Currin, Cecily Brown, Kate Clark, Kiki Smith, David Altmejd, Patricia Piccinini, Sally Mann, Christian Boltanski, Gerhard Richter, and many others.
