Earth Week: Sustainability Speaker P.J. Newcomb

Whatever your definition of sustainability is, the challenges and opportunities are bigger than any one organization can tackle alone. This talk will explore how Coca-Cola relies on strong partnerships and innovation to achieve its sustainability goals. Light refreshments provided.

PJ serves as Sustainability Program Manager for Coca-Cola North America, where he leads the Energy & Climate technical governance space. He has focused on advancing sustainability for most of his career in a variety of sectors, including industry, government and higher education. Before coming to Coca-Cola, PJ had worked for the Georgia Environmental Finance Authority, the Georgia Department of Natural Resources, Georgia Tech, and the Saturn Corporation. PJ serves on the Georgia Environmental Conference’s Steering Committee, the Georgia Conservancy’s Board of Trustees and the Advisory Committee of Grants to Green. PJ holds BS and MS degrees in Mechanical Engineering as well as an MS in History of Technology from Georgia Tech. PJ is a graduate of the 2014 class of the Institute for Georgia Environmental Leadership.
